Earl Grey Aura Tea

Classic Assam orthodox black loose leaf tea is laced with bergamot oil to make this blend just the way Lord Grey, after which this blend is named, loved his tea! Earl Grey Tea typically is a tea made from loose black tea leaves infused with the essence of Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) which gives a brusque citrusy twist to the tea. Since it received its nickname from the then British Prime Minister Earl Grey, bergamot tea is often considered very English. However, it is consumed all across the globe today.

• When brewed, bergamot may also have a relieving effect on digestive issues such as stomach cramps and spasms.
• Bergamot essential oil is also said to soothe skin irritations.

How to brew:

• Take 2 gm/1.5 tsp of earl grey tea
• Boil 180 ml of water to 80 - 85 degrees centigrade
• Pour the boiling water over the tea.
• Steep it for 5 minutes for a reddish-brown brew
• Drink plain without milk
• Best to sweeten with honey
• Can also be consumed cold, just add ice once the brew is cool
